About Ned's Blog
About Me
Hi, I'm Nedim — most people call me Ned. I'm a Cloud Engineer with a deep passion for Linux, DevOps, and building reliable infrastructure. I've spent years working hands-on with AWS cloud services, containerization, server administration, and deployment automation.
This blog is where I share what I've learned along the way — practical guides, tutorials, and cheat sheets born from real-world experience. Whether it's setting up RAID controllers, recovering hacked WordPress sites, configuring Nginx reverse proxies, or deploying containers on AWS, I write about the things I actually do in my day-to-day work.
What I Write About
- AWS Cloud — EC2, Redshift, App Runner, Lightsail, containerization with ECS and EKS
- Linux Administration — Debian, LVM, Zimbra, Rsnapshot backups, security patching
- DevOps — Capistrano deployments, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD with GitHub Actions
- Web Security — Malware detection, WordPress recovery, spam cleanup
- Programming — Ruby, PHP, object-oriented patterns
I believe the best way to learn is by doing, and the best way to solidify knowledge is by writing it down. That's what drives this blog — sharing practical, battle-tested solutions to real problems.
